MDI Prayer Letter

Dear MDI friends:

MDI is heading across the Atlantic today, November 5, and will return on November 19, 2007. Woody Camp, Steve Lorenz, Jeff McCandless, and I desire your prayer coverage as we go as your ministry partners.

This is going to be a different trip for MDI. We have been working with Ben Robinson in Kiev in the start up of Loza, a Center for Christian Thought. We are meeting Ben in London and visiting the L’Abri Fellowship branch in England to learn more from them. From there we travel to Bratislava , Slovakia , to spend time with Marsh Moyle at Citygate/SEN, a study center that Ben has worked with already. We are praying that God will give us a clear calling on the direction that we should take with Loza. We also pray for creativity in how to fund Loza. Woody Camp has been doing much research for MDI and is taking the lead as we move forward with Loza.

On November 12 we travel to Kiev for an intense week with different ministry partners there. We will be spending much time with Anatoly Kaluzhny and New Life Church as we help them move forward in getting a building built for worship in a city where real estate costs are escalating at incredible rates. We pray that we will be able to help them cement their partnership with a Ukrainian business who will help them build their church. This will require supernatural wisdom as we walk alongside this church.

We are spending several days with Radooga staff as a follow-up from our time with them in July and when they were in the USA in August. We will need to communicate clearly with them as they work through issues with their ministry’s growth and transitions. We will also be looking at a potential building site for Radooga’s office.

We will close out our time in Kiev with the Center for Leadership Development as they are going through significant changes. Pray for us as we discuss the future of CLD together.

We need a daily, conscious reliance and partnership with God, trusting in His sovereign plans. Pray that God will open the eyes of our hearts – we want to see HIM. Whatever we do, whether in word or deed, may we do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. It is the Lord we are serving.

We are pleasing to Him – let us go and be pleasing. We are loved by Him – let us go and be loving.

In the Father’s Hands,
