Please Pray for MDI

Dear MDI Friends:

Life is full and we want to live it full, in the fullness of God!

MDI is heading off to Kiev , Ukraine today, July 16 until July 26, 2007. We so desire your prayer coverage as we go as your partners in ministry. Steve Lorenz, Jeff McCandless and I have a full ten days as we continue as mentors to different Ukrainian leaders.

We will be spending time with Radooga Ministry as they are in the midst of their intense and full summer season of evangelistic English language youth camps. Many Ukrainian teenagers have come to know Jesus already this summer. Oleg and Lena Vasilevsky, founders of Radooga, will be coming to the USA in August and we will spend time with them preparing for several important weeks of meetings. We will continue working with the Radooga staff.

We also will be spending time leading the Center for Leadership Development staff on a two day retreat to set goals and strategy for the coming year.

Much time will be spent with the staff of New Life Church in Kiev . We will be working with them on different proposals for property for a church building, encouraging and praying with them for God’s clear direction.

Please pray that we will breathe GRACE to all we are around. Pray that all of our conversations be Gospel focused, as we put our trust in the Lord. Pray that we recognize our limits. Pray that as we continue to mentor leaders that God is using in a mighty way we serve out of humility and mercy and can help spur them on to love and good works that God has prepared in advance for them to do.

As I mentioned in my last email, we are raising support for our Ukrainian MDI Ministry Center staff, Sveta Boiko. This is a huge faith walk for us. If any of you are interested in financially supporting Sveta’s salary through MDI that would be wonderful. And Steve and I are always in need of increasing our support to cover our travel expenses. All this can be done through MDI which is a 501(c)3 tax exempt corporation. The address is: 204 Burnt Leaf Lane , Brentwood , TN 37027 .

Thank you for spurring us on through your prayers and encouragement. We ask God to strengthen you by His Spirit as He does us. And that we will all be able to take in the extravagant dimensions of God’s love.

PS. The trip to Ghana at the end of May was amazing and such a blessing. What a joy it was to be there for the Sweetwater House dedication!!!!
